Return & Refund Policy

The Chai Guarantee

We believe in this chai — deeply. Every bag is crafted with intention, functional ingredients, and a whole lot of love. But if you try it and it’s not for you, we’ve got you.

If you’re not happy within 30 days of delivery, email us at hello@chaitonics.com and we’ll make it right. No hoops, no hassle, no judgment.

What’s Covered

First-Time Orders — Opened Product

We offer a full refund on one (1) opened bag per customer on your first order. This is our way of letting you try it risk-free.

To be eligible:

  • Request must be made within 30 days of delivery
  • Applies to first-time orders only (one-time purchase or first subscription shipment)
  • Limit of one (1) opened bag refunded per household

Unopened Products

Unopened bags in original condition are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or was the wrong item, we’ll replace it or refund you immediately — no return required. Just email us a photo within 7 days of delivery.

What’s Not Covered

  • Subscription shipments after your first order
  • Orders where 30-day window has passed
  • Wholesale / Faire orders (governed by separate wholesale policy)
  • Refund requests showing a pattern of abuse
  • Refused shipments that do not return to our warehouse

Note: Refused shipments can get lost in transit. If you refuse a package and it does not reach us, we are unable to issue a refund. Always use the return label we provide.

How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Email us at hello@chaitonics.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll respond within 24–48 hours with a prepaid return shipping label.
  3. Pack the product securely and ship it back using the label provided.
  4. Once received at our warehouse, we’ll process your refund within 1–2 business days.
  5. Refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank.

Important: Do not send returns without first receiving a label from us. Items sent without authorization may not be accepted.

Subscription Orders

Your first subscription shipment is covered under the Chai Guarantee above.

Subsequent subscription shipments are not eligible for return or refund. You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time before your next billing date by logging into your account or emailing us at hello@chaitonics.com.

Exchanges

We don’t currently offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different product, return your original order for a refund (if eligible) and place a new order at chaitonics.com.
